About the CTB Hyperpronation Correction System

Developed by Chuck Duff, founder of Coaching The Body Institute, this complete insole kit goes beyond ordinary arch supports by giving you both the tools and the clinical knowledge to address hyperpronation at its source.

Hyperpronation — excessive inward rolling of the foot — is a contributing factor in plantar fasciitis, knee pain, IT band syndrome, hip imbalance, sciatica symptoms and chronic low back pain. Most insoles primarily add cushioning and provide very little anti-pronation support. This system is designed to correct the underlying mechanics.

Our system include first metatarsal support, which provides essential proprioceptive feedback during gait to prevent over-engagement of the gluteal muscles and TFL. These muscles tend to engage to pull the leg laterally and correct valgus collapse, however this overwork commonly leads to trigger points and referred pain.

The included foam tape in two thicknesses allows for customized correction tailored to your specific needs. The gel arch supports provide additional lift for severe hyperpronators.
