Because of its optimal combination of weight, noise, and power, the ML2 replaces both of our previous models, the Muscle Liberator Lite and the Muscle Liberator™. Weighing in at 2 pounds, anyone can easily handle the tool, and its quiet operation makes it appropriate in settings where noise is a concern.
With a 16mm stroke and 62 lbs stall force, this powerhouse can handle whatever you throw at it. The head angle easily adjusts to 3 positions: inline, 45 degrees, and 90 degrees to the handle. The CTB Trigger Point Head has several hardness levels, making it useful in more delicate muscle areas and less sensitive muscles requiring more power.
What sets this tool apart from the field is that it was designed and tested in clinical settings specifically for resolving trigger points and taut fibers, as opposed to the brute force, "meat tenderizer" approach that is commonly utilized. Simply running a percussion tool over broad areas where pain is felt, while it can provide temporary, symptomatic relief, is not a successful strategy for lasting pain resolution.
